When I Was Starting A Small Business In Coaching………

It was while I was starting a small business as a life coach and business coach that I discovered networking. My name is Louise and this was my first venture as a work at home mom.

I’d done an extensive training course to become certified and then taken on a number of pro bono clients and the deal was that I supplied my coaching services and all I wanted in return was a testimonial that my service was good.

To my delight, I found that the coaching I was giving was not only challenging and stimulating for me but my clients genuinely enthused about my style and how they now had a clear perspective of where to next take their business, life or career.

Having decided that starting a small business in coaching was for me I then had to set about launching my business with only a small amount of cash to spare. I built a website in the hope of advertising my services to the world……no response. I tried traditional advertising…….again, nothing. It was coincidentally just when I was starting to despair that I was invited to a breakfast networking meeting and as they say, “the rest is history”

After a slow start as I tried to understand more about networking I suddenly found that new clients were finding me, already warmed up and ready for the sale!

I’m now a passionate networker and I’m convinced that networking is THE method to effective business development and fulfilling life’s dreams. I went through a long and slow learning curve to fully understand how to get the most out of business networking so I’ve written this website so that you don’t have to. In fact I’m so enthusiastic about networking that I’ve set up a number of groups in my locality.
